Event Description
Meeting Time & Location: Tuesday, March 11th @ 10am via Zoom
Committee Responsibilities: Work with local charity organizations- this year we will focus on the following-
- Last week of March- trail cleanup or planting project (details will be provided @ our next meeting
- Q2 May-June- summer fan drive to collect funds or fans to donate to family elder care charity (fans for seniors or those in need w no AC)
- Q3 sometime- a volunteer event for animals (Emancipet, Austin Pets Alive or Austin Humane Society, etc) details will be provided on each at our next meeting and then we will choose and schedule
- Q4 (maybe near Veterans Day) something to benefit Vets (Soldiers Angels or??) some options will be provided at our next meeting and then we will choose and schedule
Characteristics you are looking for in a committee member: Anyone looking to participate in our charity projects and attend a few happy hours during the year
