This event will be offered both in-person and virtually.  In the event we cancel the in-person option we will still offer the program virtually via zoom.

Join us at our February luncheon to hear from Austin Police Department Chief Manley who will discuss funding cuts, homelessness, COVID-19 orders. Our presenter will be live in person!

About our speaker:

Chief Brian Manley
Brian Manley is Chief of the Austin, Texas, Police Department. He leads a department of 2,646 sworn law enforcement and support personnel who carry out police operations within the City of Austin, as well as the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, city parks and lakes, and municipal courts. With an annual budget of $402 million, APD serves Austin’s diversified population in the 11th largest city in the United States. MEMBERS ONLY EVENT (this event is not open to non-members or those on waiting list)
Member In-Person $45 (In-person price includes buffet lunch, beverage & dessert)
Online Access Only $15
Due to limited capacity we are only allowing 60% principal/support/emerging members & 40% Allied Members
48 hour notice required to avoid charges

Registration will be contactless including Covid Pre-Screening before event
Temperature checks will be performed before entry
Masks required at all times unless eating
6 foot distancing will be required at all times

It's like going to a restaurant, the venue limits capacity
Seating will be limited to 4 people per table - 8 foot tables
The venue has been sanitized for our event
Food is served behind a plexi-glass buffet, the servers are masked & gloved
Desserts will be individually boxed
All beverages are bottled or in disposable service w/ tops distributed by server
We take this seriously and are confident we have provided a safe environment
